I've still got a box of unopened apple shisha somewhere that I bought from a while ago. I just don't have a hookah.

Everyone I know was so pressed on getting a hookah from over there but they were so damn pricey. Not to mention shipping fees and possible complications during customs. I can go to any arab town in the states and get the same thing and save about $50 while I'm at it.

you know it's funny, my best (un)grade was in property law last semester. i didn't understand that class at all, the professor wasn't a very good teacher. very nice person, but very unorganized teacher. i wrote my outline based entirely on the notes of someone who had the professor the year before. i can't believe it fucking worked, i got an "excellent" which i think translates to an A, or at least a very high B.

he was apparently a very good student (or an "excellent" student i suppose). i'm tempted to email him and say thanks, but i'm almost afraid that i got a better grade than him, how embarassing would that be? me using his notes more effectively than he did?

Ok, so how big are those snakes? And, do any of them live together? Lastly, do they get along, or do they live sad, lonely lives?

Some types of snakes are communal, some aren't. 3 is the lowest number of snakes I've had in years...but back when I had several, they always got seperate setups. It's just not worth the risk. "Pinkerton" in particular...that guy was pricey. He's a "Blizzard" Corn Snake...I bought him has a 9" hatchling 4 years ago for $55. He's now 4 1/2 feet long. Plus he freakin' Pink mang, c'mon. How cool is that?

Oh yeah...Carl is about a foot and a half, I've had him since 2001. And Baxter is always curled up in a ball, so it's hard to measure him, but I'd venture a guess of 2'. He was a big of a rescue operation. His old owner couldn't get him to eat for 6 months, and heard of my reptiles, so he was given to me, setup and all.

I got him to eat in two weeks :)

I should post some pics of my tarantulas and scorpions, but they're not the most photogenic creatures. In their burrows, under rocks, etc.

the corn snake is the albino looking one eh? how big? is it full grown? I want a snake like that but I don't want one that will get huge. just a little guy.

Yep, the Corn is the Albino. He's got a light sort of milky Pink coloration, hence the name "Pinkerton." They get to about 6' or so, and he's at 4 1/2'. He's got a bit to go, but he's by no means a baby.

I started out with Garter snakes. I would suggest those as a good beginner snake. They're hearty, eat a wide variety of stuff, easy to take care of, don't get too huge, and tame down very nice. I had one that would follow me around the house. :)

The mice thing can be tough. I've been feeding mice to my snakes since I was in grade school, but my girlfriend still get's a little "awww" when I happen to feed a "cute" one to 'em. I don't blame her....but that's life, they've gotta eat.

Bahamas...I took a week off and went for my bday. First few days alone and then my girlies met me up for the weekend. My Sunday flight home into Chicago got canceled due to the weather here so I didn't get in till late Tuesday night, so I was stuck there a few extra days. we all had so much fun at our last wii get-together (we have a small tight-night group of friends that are like family) that we wanted to throw another...and this time i jokingly spread around the word that "athletic attire" was required. and it snowballed into this huge event. i didn't think that they would all take me seriously but when they got into their "uniforms" they were all wearing matching extremely tight shorts and shirts and there was man junk hanging out all over the place. it was so great. matt barfed twice (y)

yeah briefly, but that last pic is on the west coast, about 100kms north of Westport. we were also up at Cape Farewell, where we partied with baby seal puppers. they were so cute, I would've definitely thought twice about clubbing them.
