so i finally bought RATM - self titled

finally got a proper copy of it after milleniums of searching. got it with evil empire for $25AUD which is the biggest bargain i've seen.

anywho. why is there no lyrics for 'killing in the name' in the booklet?
i mean, i know the verses are exactly the same but.. could've still put something down.

Hmmm, I forget why that is. I might look into it. Great album, the first CD I ever bought. Right after I bought License to Ill.

I thought 'Evil Empire' was the most hip-hop sounding record they did, but it is a close call between that and the self-titled.

'without a face' has been the closest rap song i reckon. on that album anyway.

i seem to remember tim saying that it's because they wanted people to figure out and interpret the lyrics themselves...

i highly doubt its the record companies - they have many songs that are highly controversial
