does this happen to anyone else?

99 Red ballons came on the radio today and I realized I knew the german words for the song better than the english. I do not speak a lick of german.

I remember so clearly when I was growing up, having Nena on vinyl. one side was german the other was in english. obviously,liked listening to the german side better.

Somehow i know the sugarcubes "birthday" better in icelandic than english, too.

The way the title is worded, means that you must know songs that have 2 language versions. And well, I know like 3 in the whole world. 1 Rammstein song, the one in the title, and some crazy German one by a group called Dschinghis Khan.

I know them all in their native German, better than English version.

There aren't many songs with 2 language versions. This thread sucks.
