Hm, I'm sure there was another thread like this before? Either that or we've talked about it.

Anyway from year 2 at school I had the little DM boots until I was about 10 years old. Then I bought a dirty pair of black 14 eyelet ones for year 10/11. God I used to love them so much. I always got into trouble for wearing them though because "you could kick someones head in with those, young lady."

my friend wore those red 14 eyelets ones when we were still at school but then the school told her she couldn't wear them and had to wear black shoes/boots instead.

I had some thick-soled hiking-style boots, they were cool for like 6 months, then I started to despise them.

I had some black suede t-strap mary janes, but they never fit quite right.

I had some fake bright blue 3 hole tie ups that were fantastic and plastic.

I still have some brown twin strap mary janes with the punched-hole design above the toe, but I haven't put them on in years. In high school I had the same kind in a soft copper metallic finish and they ruled! I wore them until they disintegrated.

they're too clunky and dated. I hate chunky shoes. but oh, how I loved them in the 90's.

I did wear them (mostly in the 80s) with tight, short black skirts. I liked the look.

I had a pair of black 16 eyes. Excellent boots and I used to hike in them. I had them for about 5 years but had to lay them to rest.

I do have a pair of Doc sandals now but I seldom wear them cause they're slide on and when my feet get sweaty, they always slip off.

i picked up that look in the 90's. i teamed it up with ripped fishnets or ripped black tights over a pair of coloured tights, my rage t-shirt or another black t-shirt. i also went from a bob....... to a mohawk........ to little dreads........ to 2 plaits left and right....... to long red streaks........ then just different colours........ yes i also had "the rachel" ........then to very short and curled.......and then mid length by 2000. i've changed it quite a bit since then but you don't want me to go into that.

most of my friends don't really go for drastic changes to their hair at all. they normally try a shorter length but they mainly have it long. i don't understand them
