bobby and i went with a guy from work to the peacock room for $2 pabst blue ribbon beers. first pbr gets you two matchbox cars, each additional pbr gets you one car. 130 cars, two cars race at a time until there's a final winner. there's even a modified division (one car had a dime glued to it). out of 130 cars, bobby and i were randomly picked and had to race each other twice (he and i each won once, so, a draw). we made it pretty far in the finals, but we didn't win the $25 bar tab.

you get to keep all your losing cars. all of our cars (including the cars from my friend from work) are here and here. bobby won a haircut in a raffle, and i got a t-shirt at the end of the night (extra shit that needed to be given away).

i was glad when they ran out of cars so that i didn't have to drink pbr anymore.
