BeastieMixes.com Collabo Album...Who's In?

I don't know how to go about this, or if this will even work out....But there are 50+ hosted remixers on BeastieMixes.com right now....Some are active right now, and some are not....But if we can pair up 2 remixers with each other, maybe 3. I think we can come up with a sick Collabo Album.....I don't know how we'll determine who gets paired up with who, or what song each group gets, but right now we need some "I'm In's"...Even if we get 30 of the mixers, and divide them into groups of rwo, that's 15 tracks....The more the merrier.......So here's the big question.......Who's In?
Once we have enough "I'm In's", we can all work together to organize shit out....

Note: If there are any of you guys( or girls?) NOT hosted on BeastieMixes.com and want to be apart of this...Uhhhh, too bad....Nah just kidding....Drop Silence7 an email and get hosted.

im in. i think 3 verse tracks should have 3 djs but 2 verse like pass the mix could have either 4 or 2 since those are long verses.

I know it's WAY too early...But like i said in the other post "Silence Is Golden" would be a cool album name.....But in the end...we ALL will vote on a cool name, since it's a collabo album...

Im totally in...id wanna hook up with at least one other producer and also another dj who can scratch ... i have some sick unreleased beats that would be cool with turntables behind them,,....and then the other producer could help with the chorus and bridges and ovrall song structure/any other switch ups....

in other words im down...

I got one question; how we're gonna maych one dj to the other, are we gonna choose for our selfs or do you have other suggestions. I, originally, had the idea to hook up with Tricky Dick...

I say just choose. If you wan in, and you dont have someone to mix with, post here, and we'll try to get it hooked up. After your first mix, maybe switch off to someone who you never would have thought to mix with. That would be kinda crazy!

Anyway, i'm sure we can work it out!!

I think first we should get enough DJ's first, before we start anything...Right now there are only 8 of us....But that IS a good question tho....Determining who gets matched up with who, and which song(the beasties i mean) each group gets...Are the main things to we're going to have to figure out......I guess basically, what Bobaratt said.....Any other suggestions? Lay them on us...

I agree that we should set up the system of partner/song selection before we get going. It would be cool to not have any repeat songs.

Cosmo and i have decided to do one together, but we haven't picked a song. I suppose we could just do first come, first serve. And by choosing partners, it would avoid the problem of somebody not pulling their weight, like if partners were assigned. At least that way, you know you got a person (or people) who really want to complete a project with you.

Here's a crazy idea...seeing as how the album is for Silence7, we could first get into groups. And then, when you have a group of 2,3,or 4 (or whatever), we could ask Silence which song he'd like to hear said group mix (after all it is all for him, and who else knows every DJ like he does) Just a thought.

Yeah, assigning partners by one person is not the way to go....I'm thinking everybody can throw out some names that you would like to work with, and then we can work everything out like that.....And if we happen to NOT get enough DJ's, we can mix and match......(I think that's easier said than, done)

I didn't see Chromium's last post....We actually have 7 DJ's at the moment...

I pretty much let you guys do your own thing, and rarely step in, but if you guys are going to do something for me I may as well help.

If you guys want, I can do a mass BCC: mail if you guys want, to the hosted dj's explaining what's going on, and pointing them to this thread. After that I'm just going to keep my eyes closed until you guys say it's ok to open them.
