BEASTIEMIXES RAP!!!!!

Yo, fellow remixers deejay's and other punkasses I got an idea i wanna work out with all of you guys. Since the Beastiemixes.com collaboration didn't work out the way everyone hoped it would and DJZap and Cosmo Kramer spilled some of their rhymeskills, i thought it'll be a nice idea to write a Beastiemixes.com rap..... Yes, a Beastiemixes.com rap. Here's the deal:

I start out with the first line of the rap and send it to the first deejay on the Beastiemixes.com deejaylist. That would be 7x5. You, 7x5, think of the second line and send the two lines to the next deejay, in this case, Alex Westmore...ect, etc, etc.... At the end of the list we would have a nice set of lyrics to create a Beastiemixes.com rap

You in or not? Let me know what you guys think and we'll see from here....

I'm curious too.....When we did the "collabfiasco", there were about 50 dj's on BM.COM....And in the end, when you break it down, only 10 winded up participating (6 mixes, 2 of them submitted by the same duo).....And that was for a collaboration of what we do best....Which is remix......I wonder, out of the 71 dj's that we have now, how many are gonna have the balls to actually write a line, and record it? We shall see....I can't wait till we have enough tho.....There should be a backup plan, just incase we do not have enough in the end...No? Like 2 lines each or something....


Also, is there a beat picked out yet? (PWN ?)

whatd be dope is if the rappers wrote a 8 or 16 bar verse and the djs made 8 or 16 bar loops so each rapper would have a different beat by a diff dj! then at the end the turntablists could collab and have a lil session like scratched drums, horns, bass etc...

just my idea! if we go with any of the others, im still in

That's a really good idea, Zap. If we wind up not having enough people for the original idea, this sounds like a really good way to go.....Because maybe there are DJ's that WANT to participate, but don't want to have their voice heard (literally)....Your idea still gives them a way to contribute by making a loop and not having to write lyrics or record....And who knows, everyone might not have a microphone....Anyway, like Zap said tho, whichever way we go on this, i'm stilil in....
